Brief Research Description
Daniele Sola earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2006, specialized in Internal Medicine in 2012, and obtained a PhD in Molecular Medicine in 2016. He has consistently focused on immunological research, particularly in the culture, phenotyping, and activation of monocyte macrophages, employing translational research methods that integrate clinical practices and ultrasonography in autoimmune diseases. Currently, he is a researcher at the Department of Translational Medicine at the University of Eastern Piedmont, in collaboration with IRCCS Auxological Italian Institute. He works in the Metabolic Research Laboratory, expanding his research into metabolic and endocrinological fields. His work specifically addresses obesity and cardiovascular risk factors, including the pathogenesis and role of inflammation, studying adipokines, leukocyte cytokines, microvesicles, anthropometric parameters, adverse cardiac events, endothelial activation, and the pharmacological response in patients with obesity and hormonal imbalances.
