Brief Research Description

My mean fields of research interests are the follows:

• role of human polyomaviruses in renal damage of  kidney transplant patients and in the pathogenesis of transitional cancer and in gliomas of the central nervous system (CNS)

• biomarkers useful in the prognosis and in prediction of efficacy of novel therapies in CNS gliomas and meningiomas, by using next generation sequence technology

• molecular genetic profiling e research on new biomarkers of prognostic and predicting significance in malignant pleural mesotheliomas

• developing a high-throughput metabolomics method to capture the metabolic complexity of the microbiota metabolome adherent to adenomatous polyps and adenocarcinoma in light to discover the prediction frequency of cancerogenesis in adenomatous polyps

• role of beta HPV infection in development of skin cancer in kidney transplant recipients
